This is a Good Day 7/16

Good Sunday July sixteenth as we study the prophecies given through Ezekiel.

Ezekiel’s wife dies-

When we open our bibles and begin to read from the book of Genesis we are introduced to the creator of life which includes what our eyes see, what our ears hear, what our noses smell and Who God is. As much as the enemy still wants us to choose to believe we can be as God, when we actually examine life from the atomic structure to natural life we have to be amazed as life is so amazing. What I love about Genesis is that God alone spoke life into existence, we read “Genesis 1:12a “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep.” It is after God placed life His creation into order we read in verse 26-28 that God so then created man, Genesis 1:26-27 “Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” God created our world and us to be submissive and obedient to Him. He has given us life, and when He created man He created both the male and the female. Dear saints this is God’s word and God does not lie, so as we are reading from this prophecy understand just how much went into the creation when God says He must destroy His people who have rejected Him that this is not something God at all enjoys doing but He must do so we will know Who He is. Let us read together today from Ezekiel 24:16-18 “Son of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down. 17 Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban on your head, and put your sandals on your feet; do not cover your lips, and do not eat man’s bread of sorrow.”18 So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died; and the next morning I did as I was commanded.” Ezekiel, God’s prophet, reveals that his wife has died, ‘take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke.’ We are let into Ezekiel’s personal life, his wife, his soul mate, his desire of his eye was taken from him.  God says to Ezekiel ‘yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, nor shall your tears run down.’ Ezekiel’s position: yes he has lost his wife, his soul mate but God says you are not to mourn but to continue to represent Me. This is as when Aaron’s two sons Nadab and Abihu who offered an unauthorized offering Leviticus 10:2-3 “So fire went out from the Lord and devoured them, and they died before the Lord. 3 And Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord spoke, saying: ‘By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy and before all the people I must be glorified.’ ” So Aaron held his peace.” And Ezekiel is to hold his peace. Even Jesus wept and Ezekiel was to mourn alone and sigh in silence. God knows Ezekiel’s loss, ‘so I spoke to the people in the morning, and in the evening my wife died.’ And Ezekiel obeyed, trusted God and the next morning he continued the teachings. Life has losses, do you trust the Lord? Remnant
